Martin, Kyle, Errol and Dakota started rehearsing together in May, as we were putting our finishing touches on the soundproofing. Performing a combination of original songs and a blend of punk, goth and progressive rock, they were an instant hit and had several gigs at private parties prior to their first stage appearance at the OB Street Fair in June. They continue to evolve under the name WAX FIGURINE. |

WEEKEND WARRIORS/EMS HOUSE BAND AT OB FARMER'S MARKET/JULY 30 We were so proud to present our beginners group, Weekend Warriors for the first time! They started the group on May 1, and then foundout about the this gig.... some having only taken a few lessons. We are so proud of them and the hard work and direction of Israel Maldonado. Even though the day was cool and gray, the crowd was warm, full of smiles and applause. The kids ate it up! |
